Individual Therapy (50 minutes)

  • Treatment for adults and adolescents.
  • Various issues addressed, including:

o      stressful life changes
o      anxiety
o      depression
o      bipolar disorder
o      grief and loss
o      adult ADHD.

  • Treatment plans tailored to individual’s strengths and needs.
  • Interventions drawn from  evidenced based practices, including:

o      emotionally focused therapy
o      cognitive behavioral therapy
o      mindfulness- based therapy
o      interpersonal psychotherapy


Couple Therapy (75 minutes)

  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) provides foundation of work.
  • A short-term, non-blaming approach to conflict and distress.
  • Addresses  underlying needs and emotions that fuel repetitive arguments.
  • An evidence-based approach that helps most couples achieve lasting changes in 12-20 sessions.
  • Can be effective even for couples not helped  by previous therapy or considering divorce.


Family Therapy (75 minutes)

  • Often the treatment of choice when family conflict plays a significant role in problems.
  • Effective for many problems, including anxiety, depression, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and Oppositional Defiant  Disorder.
  • All family members are heard and respected.
  • Interventions tailored to each family’s unique needs.
  • Effective and practical approaches are utilized, including:

o     Systemic therapy
o     Attachment-based therapy
o     Cognitive-behavioral therapy
o     Parent coaching


Clinical Supervision (60 minutes)

  • Proven track record of over twenty years providing clinical supervision to graduate students, professionals working toward licensure, and seasoned mental health professionals.
  • A collaborative, supportive approach.
  • Certified in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and Approved Supervisor Candidate, providing individual and group supervision in  EFT model of couples therapy.
  • Systems theory, attachment theory, and grounding in evidence-based practices provide foundation of supervision.
  • Variety of therapeutic interventions taught, including emotion focused techniques, cognitive behavioral techniques, engagement skills, and family therapy techniques.
